POLICE BRANCH OFFICE WITH PALILULA MUNICIPALITY SUPPORT

Palilula Municipality, in cooperation with the institutions of public interest, involved in furnishing and equipping of the space- Department of Police Administration, Police Security Branch at the Railway Station in Nis. On this occasion, president PhD Igor Novakovic, President Milan Djurdjevic, Municipal president and a member of Municipal Council Milos Stojkovic visited the staff of the office of the Police branch office and handed over part of the office furniture and two printers. On the behalf of the Police Administration Niš, this meeting was also attended by Deputy of the Head Dr. Ljubisa Zdravkovic.

This is the only police office in Palilula Municipality and the satisfaction is what we can help this team. You can see the conditions in which they work and take care daily of our lives and our security, said president of Palilula Municipality PhD Igor Novakovic. Central Railway Station is in our municipality, railroad passes through the center of our city, and therefore the risk of problems that the police now faces are more severe. This primarily relates to the vulnerability of the population of harmful waste materials and radioactive materials sometimes transported on the international road as well as other criminal activities.

A grant of Palilula and other donors of Police outpost / branch of this means a lot, said Obrad Ivanovic, Senior Police Commander, Deputy Commander of PIBZ. Nis Police Department allocated adequate resources for local offices, but they are insufficient for the given tasks they perform. We need much more to improve the process and more effectively cared about the safety of our citizens. As you can yourself try to see a little was invested in rooms equipment in where we moved in1978, with its own funds that were pulled are employed to improve working conditions and create a nice atmosphere.

We are in Palilula Municipality supporting the activity of opening a new police office in our territory, said the president Novakovic. We provided very fast from the Republic Directorate for the property all the necessary documentation to transfer to the Ministry of Internal Affairs one of buildings which is part of the Home for Youth Education complex. The building is in good condition, but is necessary to reconstruct for new purposes. I expect that the Mayor and City Council in 2012 approved funding for the reconstruction of this building because we are the only municipality in the city without a police outpost.

President of the Union of Serbian police-Union group of Niš, Vojislav Petrovic, gave on this occasion to the president of Palilula PhD Igor Novakovic of certificate for the help and support that this city municipality gives to the members of the Police Administration of Nis.
